Rogier van Otterloo would have turned 65 this year. B-oost and the Metropole Orchestra honour their former chief conductor with a triptych of known and unknown pieces and adaptions by current director Johan Plomp.
Highlight of this unique concert will be a new interpretation of Van Otterloo's music by Arling & Cameron. In their compositions they blend A&C originals with classic Van Otterloo tracks. Specials guest appearances by drum 'n organ duo zZz and trumpet player Eric Vloeimans

"Three Times Van Otterloo" is part of B-oostıs second edition. The festival is held from 27th September until 1st October 2006 in Amsterdamıs eastern docklands. The program is spread out over four evenings and one afternoon in Bimhuis, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Café Pakhuis Wilhelmina, Panama, Lloyd Hotel and De Zwijger.
